Erasmus+ will only fund mobility projects, not individual teachers or learners who want to teach or study in another EU country.

You will find all the options in the Erasmus+ guide, under KA1: Mobility Project for Higher Education Students and Staff (pages 35+).

Students in higher education:

  • a study period abroad at a partner higher education institution (HEI);
  • a traineeship (work placement)abroad in an enterprise or any other relevant workplace20.

 

Staff in higher education:

  • teaching periods: this activity allows HEI teaching staff or staff from enterprises to teach at a partner HEI abroad. Staff mobility for teaching can be in any subject area/academic discipline.
  • training periods: this activity supports the professional development of HEI teaching and non-teaching staff in the form of training events abroad (excluding conferences)and job shadowing/observation periods/training at a partner HEI, or at another relevant organisation abroad.

Financial support for the sending or receiving organisation:

  • Organizational support: 350 euros per participant.

Financial support for teachers (staff) travelling:

  • Duration of the stay: between 2 days - 2 months (excluding travel); 
  • Contribution to travel costs: depending on the travelling distance, between 180 to 1.000 euros per person;
  • Subsistence: depending on your country and the country you travel to: between 60 - 160 euros for days 1-14;  for days 15+: 70% of the daily rate: 
  • Special needs support (e.g. sign language interpreters): 100% of real, illegible costs.

Financial support for students travelling:

  • Duration of the stay: between 3 - 12 months; 
  • Subsistence: depending on your country and the country you travel to: between 150 - 500 euros per month;
  • Special needs support (e.g. sign language interpreters): 100% of real, illegible costs.

Applications have to be submitted before 4 March, for projects starting in June of the same year. Applications have to be sent to the National Agency of the applicant.
