De-Sign Bilingual is a European project, funded under Erasmus+.
Project duration: 11/2014–10/2016.
The project goals:
- to develop and apply sign bilingual lesson plans/concepts
and materials; - to enable and strengthen transregional and international cooperation of key players in sign bilingual education;
- to share local knowledge and competences nationally and internationally;
- to create a European map of sign bilingual education;
- to collect and document European Best Practice models and make them available for teachers;
- to create tools to raise the quality of sign bilingual education. Publication will enable systematic transfer of knowledge in European sign bilingual education;
- a public closing conference „Creating Bimodal Bilingual Good Practice in Schools in Europe“.
